Joining an army to fight in a foreign country half across the globe in a conflict that has nothing to do with the safety of the US isn't really something you should get thanks for. If you want to risk your life for some one else's cause, then thats up to you, but I won't be thanking anyone until the fighting is actually done for a good reason. Just like I don't thank a boxer for fighting. He fought because he wanted to fight. He definitely didn't help me out any.

Where and when did you serve? By that I mean which state of the United States were you specifically defending from foreign invasion? My history isn't that good, can you let me know when we were invaded and how many foreign invaders on US soil you personally killed in the line of duty? Since you aren't God, and didn't give me the power to speak, I realized you must be referring to the repelling of a very recent military invasion of the US that I'm not aware of. And seriously, just learn to read. You are really bad at it. There are many community college courses available at night. I'm quite serious about that by the way. If you live in a reasonably sized city, I'm sure you can find a good community college and some reading courses.

I didn't make the wars possible the American people did. In the military you defer to the civillian leadership. Don't blame the military for who the American people put in charge.
