Modest question

Why can't the liberals/progressives/socialists let poor Fox alone and be satisfied with having in their tank all of the other networks, nearly every major newspaper, and the overwhelming majority of movie actors and producers?

Don't forget NPR.

NPR?! Are you serious...? Come on now! They're about as biased as milk toast. I've been listening to them every morning for the past 4 years and they dedicate maybe 10 minutes to politics each morning. The rest of the time they spend doing what they're supposed to do -- REPORTING!!! I often hear news about the rest of the world -- like China, Russia, Africa and yes, even Iraq & Afghanistan, that I rarely hear about in the so-called 'liberally biased' MSM that everyone say. NPR spends a LOT more time on a subject and provides a much greater detail about a topic than you can ever hope to get from the 30 second sound bites you'll hear everywhere else. So you think NPR is 'liberally biased'? Show me proof...

I like NPR, but there is no doubt they slant left...I'm willing to bet not a single NPR reporter voted for McCain (or any other Republican) in the last news cycle.

I'll back you on that -- and I'm a rightwing libertarian, who runs an anti-partisan blog. Conservatives might want somebody a little purer than Brooks. But liberals would want somebody sharper than Dione.

Not like the NY Times, where Paul Krugman is the Glen Beck of the left, whipping partisans into hysteria, no different than the GOP Death Panels, and every bit as dishonest.

Then again, it was the Times who perdicted a possible total meltdown when Clinton and the Democrats started forcing subprime mortgages. And it was the Times who first reported that they were exactly correct. The C-Span videos of Democrats fighting regulation are enough to start a revolution.

Good post. You'll probably not find any lefties with substantive opposition to your blog. Degs has argued that it was the GOP that is responsible for not properly regulating the financial community. I'll be watching to see if he has any counter to your points.
