Why do so many seem so bitter, even though their party regained the majority in 2006? Is it because the Dems promises of the first 100 hours are nowhere near being fulfilled? ???

So, so bitter. Maybe it's because we have been entangled in a strategic mess of a war by an inept President, and we have 16 more months before the embarassment is out of there.

Right on. Imagine, sixteen more months. So close, yet so very far. As bad as it is now, with he, Cheney and crew still stompin' all over our Constitution and government it could get even worse.

The only, to me, that could save this nation, repair it's nation and international reputation is to impeach both commander guy and The Dickhead and rout the whole lot out.

Unfortunately, the Dems haven't the balls to do what's right on this and more's the pity for us all.

But you are right that many of them are still lashing out right and left........ I don't get that.

But you'll have to admit, their beloved Dems haven't come through for them in Congress as was promised. And more and more it is looking as if the Republicans have a shot at the Presidency.

So maybe they have something to be bitter about.

But, to me, politics isn't EVERYTHING........I have a life away from politics and that keeps me from ever being bitter.

want to reply and have her say I'm attacking her and start WWIII. Sure is news to me, but this far away from the election, who knows?? With the signing of that bill recently, Bush might just decide we have a National Emergency close to election time...small scale attack, who knows?? Then he could call off the election without Congress approval...he seems to have dictatorial rights now. Who ever thought it'd come to this??
