In addition, why are we not fitting revolving doors with generators to turn our wasted kinetic energy into electricity? It may only create a small amount, but the energy would be free and in a city like New York there are thousands of revolving doors that get very heavy use. This could be another way for buildings to cut down on the cost and energy footpring of heating/cooling the lobbies.
