Dear Readers,

Please ignore the so-called research on this subject. It is obviously a politcal attack against the opposition. When is this lowly dialogue going to end? Is there anyone out there in a powerful position in the Media that will have the courage to stop this decadent, impoverished display by ignorant cretins on both sides of the aisle? Is America going to sink down into this sewer of aristocratic sludge or can the common sense people of this country raise the level of discourse to at least AVERAGE? I am ashamed of the Media, the Politicians, and the arrogance of so-called high-end artists in every field playing like juveniles in thier dirty mouthed rantings. Please give me an average conversation, one that makes good arguments from any point of view, with rebuttals that flow above the level of the sewer. Yes, I mean you!

Who do you think conducted this study?? Let me guess a bunch of liberals... If you think for one miniute that liberals are open minded your living in a fariy tale world.. Anyone who diagrees with them is cursed at called a hate mongral and so on.. I have been on these message boards and it is a proven fact that they have some of the most hateful speech ever put on some message boards.. So I would have to say that whoever conducted this study needs to keep on researching.. Here would be a helpful hint for you why don't you use people that are non bias.. to help you with your study where do the moderates come in here??

We need an evolutionary perspective on this, so if either is your specialty, please share.
I believe this may be telling us something as fundamental as evolutionary survival skills. If conservatives may tend to guess wrong more often than liberals in these studies, it just may be an acceptable risk overall to be wrong, for survival purposes. After all, one who hesitates in the face of potential danger and demands even one extra millisecond to analyze it and make sure they are 'always right' may not have been a major player in human evolution. Obviously, plenty of liberals thrive to this day--which could only be due to the survival skills and beneficence of (potentially) trigger happy conservatives! For example: analyzing a potential nuclear threat and making sure you know if it's an M or a W. It is about survival, not martyrdom. It is about 9-10-01 thinking vs. 9-11-01 thinking. You may laugh, but evolution doesn't lie. And you didn't make it here to read this far by being in a crowd of 'let's always make sure it's an M or W'.
