You are aware that heat radiates... right?

Sure, we produce heat... but that's nothing compared to the amount of heat that is constantly radiating down from the sun, or up from the Earth's core. But we've never worried about that heat because it is constantly radiating back into space. What matters is the energy that is trapped by the atmosphere.
If no heat were trapped, this rock would be uninhabitable... dropping more than 100 degrees C during the night. But if too much heat is trapped... we could see some pretty drastic changes on our planet.
I want to reduce human fertility, which would gradually reduce the world population. I support policy to that extent... but I don't think you'll find too many environmentalists that would support genocide or speciocide. Reducing fertility would take a full generation before we see world population start to reduce, and then it would reduce very slowly. We can target some of the gasses which are the greatest concern much more quickly, and that's something that is far easier to rally people around.
