Give Wilson a break (and I'm not a big fan of WW). Here's a former academic (no big bucks) there, a very sick man (in a country without a decent health care program) and an ex-pres (before pensions and expenses were part of their pay package). He needed the money!

So this characterization is on the harsh side:
