Of course President Obama deserves the Nobel Peace Prize and it is ridiculous to suggest he shouldn't accept it. He has done more to improve our relations around the globe since taking office than any other President in my life time and I am in my 50's. What is wrong with the people of this nation that they can not open their eyes and see in this wonderful man what the rest of the world sees? After 8 years of having a man in the white house who has set our relations with the resto f the world back back to the stoneage I personally am proud of President Obama.

I'll tell you what, as soon as he does one of the following, we can talk:

1)Fix our situation in Afghanistan

2)Bring peace to the Israelis/Palestinians

3)Prevent Iran from getting nukes

4)Leave Iraq without creating a disaster

5)Bring NK into the international fold

Until then, he's a bunch of hot air. People like him, but who the fu$% cares?!? Get something done for God's sake!

The peace prize has officially jumped the shark.

Tony, whether the peace prize has been given prematurely or whether the Nobel committee was thanking and supporting Obama's effrort towards nuclear disarmament (as Obama says, it's a process that might not be completed in his lifetime) is one issue.

The rest of your post lists all the issues Obama has inherited from Bush. Do you really think they can be resolved in 9 months? Since you care about these issues, you are probably supporting the president in resolving them and you're not among those hoping for him and our country to fail?

He is the worst person to hold this office that I have see in my 61 years. He speaks with a forked tongue and has accomplished nothing for the good of this country since day one! He needs to run the country and stay our of the private sector. We don't need the government in our lives any more than they already are and he needs to leave GOD where he is in our country and acknowledge that this country was founded "In God We Trust" and that is how we have been so strong and plentiful, by trusting in GOD. He has spent taxpayers money and lots of it for foolish travel. Is trying to take more away from us everyday than we could ever get back. Our fathers and forfathers worked very hard with a lot of sweat and pain and deaths to get this far, for him to get this position and tear down everything that they built for future generations from everywhere to reap the benifits. America feeds the world and give him time and that will be gone too! We won't even be able to feed our own! Wake up people! Read your bible and it will tell you about ones to come. Will come from the east, say all the right things and people will follow and propaganda you to death to pull you in to his way of thinking. Open your eyes and you will see!
