Why not give him both?

Honestly, I feel bad for President Obama. He obviously doesn't deserve the award, he knows he doesn't deserve it, and the whole world knows he doesn't deserve it. So the committee has put him in the position of accepting it and looking like a narcissistic preener or refusing it and seeming like an ungrateful wretch. Of the two, I think refusing is the better course.

President Obama worked like hell to become President. Nobody handed it to him. He earned it. Let's honor the fact that he is a capable man by waiting until he earns awards before giving them.
