So the kid hates to put winter clothing on, won't eat his carrots anymore, and won't tell you why? As any child who grew up in a nothern climate can tell you, the biggest secret about the great white north is the lecherous snowmen. Just think about it, as parents you allow these snowmen to be alone with your children all the time. You won't let your own priest around your kids but the snowman is OK.....and all he wears is a scarf and a hat. Is that responsible parenting?

I'm telling you, if you leave these characters alone with your kids for more than a few minutes.....they get grabby. It could be the snowman in your front yard, it could be the snowman at the day care center.....it could be any snowman, really.

Your only solution is to kill all the snowmen. Or use something other than a carrot for their noses.

So you're on board with the sexually abusive snowmen but you doubt if the timing of the letter makes it likely that they are the perpetrators in this particular instance. I'm open to that argument. Although the LW could be from the southern hemishpere. South Africa gets more snow than people realize, for instance. I think the southern island of New Zealand can get pretty snowy as well. I have no idea if southern hemisphere snowmen are as untrustworthy as their northern counterparts though.

'Struth, Pogue. Snowmen are devilishly clever in getting kids to touch their balls. And (little known fact) most snowmen have three of 'em (each one bigger than the last, no less).
