During recent state legislative sessions in Nevada there have been owners and prostitutes have been lobbying for additional taxes on legal brothels. The advocates of such a tax think that will make it harder to make brothels illegal. The opposition, of course, wants to make brothels illegal.

It even got to the point where some were lobbying to make brothels legal in Reno and tax them.
