will we have to abandon our moral relativism towards cultures where girls are bought and sold like cattle, and not avert our eyes and tell ourselves its none of our business?

how about cultures which stone people to death for wanting to switch religions, or simply have no religion at all? that's a time honored tradition in many places . . .

and heaven forbid that we might be forced to re-examine the premise that some people (many people) are going to be happier ruled by a murderous tyrant, because their nation/race/tribe has no demonstrated hisotry of democracy?
