Well, I've only been here in theater since 21 July and the temperature on a reliable thermometer hanging on one of a VERY FEW trees has read at least 110 degress EVERYday. Granted it hasn't peaked at 130 degrees and I haven't seen it once exceed 120 degrees, although it has reached that temperature on numerous occasions; but, if you're trying to say it isn't hot over here, please feel free to come spend some time with us. I may have missed the point of the article and don't have the time to go back and study it or any accompanying articles/blog entries...I now need to head back out in my 40-plus pounds of Army gear to do my job, sweat my backside off and put my life on the line in the cool evening temperature of ONLY 100 degrees.
