1.) No one (of consequence, really) found anything wrong with my toppost with regard to accuracy or truthiness.
2.) It was the nic and history (so-called) of the topposter that some seemed to have a problem with.
3.) The subject of the post was immediately recognized by all. I wouldn't have even had to put "Laurie" in the subject line.
4.) The subject of the toppost immediately delighted in my characterization of her, for whatever reason.
5.) 4.), I think, makes her sicker than any of us could possibly have imagined.
6.) Those who revel in their own alleged victimhood are beyond help.
7.) Bystanders who let them revel in their own alleged victimhood are every bit as sick as she is.

Your conclusion is of course correct, but your omission of intervening events lets way too many posters off the hook.

Laurie and lilmacg are just the outliers many SD's to the left of the mean. And we of course know who the missing outliers were - the ones who were many SD's to the right of the mean.

But between the two, particularly non-outliers within 2 SD's to the left of the mean, are are whole host of posters who have helped bring this place down by their insistence on posting stuff that was either inane or personal or usually both. (Gatewood is actually in this group, in his present incarnation.)

And to them I say, take a bow, folks - you did your job well.
