The current use of "racist" to tar people who disagree with Obama is just as fair as the use of the word "socialist" to tar anyone who agrees with him (including Obama himself). If fact I would argue that Liberals are being even more fair-minded in their accusations of racism than republicans are with their accusation of socialism. I gave a number of conservatives the definition of "socialism" and asked them to explain how it is that Obama satisfies the definition. Not a one of them answered. I could at least give reasons why I think plenty of the tea-bagging crowd are judging Obama, in part, on his race.

I offered said conservatives the compromise that I'd start being more rigorous in my use of the word "racism" is they'd do the same with "socialism". No one took me up on my offer.
