Well, I guess Mr. Wilson was right!

With very little if any coverage made in the media, the new Senate bill now has an inclusion of a way to verify if illegals try to apply for the healthcare program.

In all three of the original bills there was NO SUCH provision.

And now the hispanic caucus is pissed!!

So, I guess Congressman Wilson was correct and Obama WAS lying!!

We do not include racist citizenship tests in every piece of legislation. The original legislation stated that illegals were not covered. The Pres told the truth. New legislation includes some cursory language to defuse the whining of the racist edge of the Republican party. You are being patronized. that does not mean you are right.
Actually, he is right.

The original language barred illegals from certain benefits, but provided for no way of verifying citizenship -- a kind of naive honor system (Are you a citizen? Are you sure? Okay then.). Now verification has found its way into the bill despite Democratic resistance.
OK, you think I'm a racist...

Then I consider you a Non-U.S. Citizen.

Because is it the fools such as yourself the don't give a rat's ass about this nation's rights of soveriegnty, nor the rights of those U.S.citizens and immigrants who came here LEGALLY.

So, go ahead and call me a racist, but, it is the true morons such as yourself that have closed your eyes to the need to end the madness that has allowed 12-25 million illegals into this country with no fear of consequences.

And whether they are latino, chinese, czech, irish, or whatever, I'm an equal opportunity deporter!

do you actually think that the legislation needed to spell out procedures at that level? It the law says don't give benefits to illegal aliens, the administration of that rule is up to the agency responsible for implementation. Putting the exact process to follow into the law makes the process harder to change. That isn't very efficient, in the long run.

You want to turn every triage nurse into an agent of ICE?

Are you out of your fucking mind?

Oh, and evensteven?

Yes, I think you're a racist, but more pertinently, I think you're an idiot.

The subsidies being offered for healthcare reform would be awarded when a person pays taxes. So apparently, evenstevenII is worried about illegal immigrants paying taxes illicitly.

Under current U.S. Law, the rape and sexual assualut of one citizen by another is prohibited.

If I don't include a mechanism for enforcement in the above statement, does that make it a lie?

Is that how you read my post? I said the agency implementing the public option would be responsible for implementing the procedure to determine eligibility, based on the legislation...you turn that statement into thinking nurses would be checking birth certificates?
