Truth will out

Turns out the tea-baggers used a two year old photo to inflate their numbers.

They think the average American is as clueless as them.

Who could have guessed?

What? You think that

70,000 is an insignificant number? I hear whistling in the dark from the Left on this subject. Were some people not worried there wouldn't be such a concerted effrort to leap into the discrediting business.

I have no idea how any of this is ultimately going to play out but it is very interesting. It's at least as interesting as all the war protests were during the Bush Administration. I seriously doubt that the Tea Party movement is just a flash in the pan.

"It's at least as interesting as all the war protests were during the Bush Administration."

Actually, even the NYT buried it's reporting on a anti-war march of over 250K people in NYC and the networks hardly mentioned the marches even though they were world-wide.

Tea-baggers are another story, front page coverage and CNN even had reporting from a tour-bus and reporters embedded with the marchers.

It's all tea-baggers, all the time, and it's intention is to thwart healthcare reform in particular and Obama in general, it fits nicely into your non-agenda agenda.

The only difference between you and LAM is brain cells.

things from a broad enough political perspective, The mass media covered the Tea Party event ONLY so that they could discredit it. People watching the event on televison, however, looked at the huge crowd and decided for themselves that it WAS NOT an insignificant demonstration by inconsequential people.

So now those very same viewers KNOW that they are not alone in their doubts about Obama or his Administration. That's a powerful aide.

As for LAM, I really don't understand why so many of you have this knee-jerk allergic reaction to her. Do any of you actually read the contents of her average top posts? You know, what actually gets written rather than the personality or politics of the person doing the writing?

Ah well, we all have relationships with posters who just rub us the wrong way. There are a few on this board [or fewer than that] who make my skin crawl every time they post . . . and those people I just try to avoid.

It bothers the bots that there are two of us strongly taking their lame asses to task on facts and points they can not refute. It really begins to make them nervous when their are more than just one they can all jump on and marginlize. So, the post by low wattage boy, above, is designed to divide and conquer. It's very transparent.

Thanks for not falling for it.

Jack is so extreme in his abject obvious hatred for libs in general they can tell themselves he's just a racist and mentally dismiss in their bot minds. Urq and Ink(who are also more conservative than the Obama fans would wish, still, however, use such obtuse, and often milktoast language that they can dismiss them as relatively harmless, to their cause. But, you , as I do, just flat out tell them, in no nonsense terms ,where their arguments fail and it really bothers them, because now there are two posters taking them to task in that manner.

So, they play the attack and mainipulative game of trying to pit one against the other.

It's childish.

Thanks again for seeing through it.

By the way John Stewart slammed hard on ACORN, last night on "The Daily Show". It was great! Won't see that video linked of his show on Huff Post this morning. You can bet on that.

"But it turns out the photo is more than 10 years old, apparently taken during a 1997 Promise Keepers rally."

That's interesting about
by Gatewood

John Stewart. I wonder if he really is moving towards the center now as a comedian? As for the rest, I am honestly amazed at the level of vitriol flung at you from various posters. If they simply stop and give your average top posting a serious read then how can they react as they do?

You are saying common sense things and -- far more so than I -- frequently backing up your assertions with informative links. As noted, people can have allergic reactions to a poster that has very little to do with the actual contents of their average posts. That's how I see it.

70,000 is an insignificant number compared to the 2 million used by the liars. Take it up with them...maybe you can figure out why they chose to go with the lie.
