SCAIRT

Can you smell the fear coming from the left side of the aisle? I'm not a huge Fred Thompson fan but I do appreciate the fact that he makes Democrats tuck their tails and bare their fangs.

Seriously, the entire premise of that article was that Thompson doesn't have the experience to be President? C'mon, Democrat (yes, Democrat, not Democratic) operatives should be able to do better than that!

Pfffft.

MIchael Dukakis could beat this crowd of "Republics".

The only reason FT is getting any air is because everyone is already bored with the lock-solid losers your team has been playing so far.

So, which do you prefer, President Clinton or President Obama?

STOOPUD

No fear over here. Just amusement. The fact that the GOP candidates are so weak that someone like Thompson would get so much attention is amusing as hell.

The fact that you're too stupid to even use proper grammar, and intentional so, demonstrates the meaningless of your crass and childish attacks.

I love how often "righties" toss imply the people they disagree with are cowards (implying they're brave). And golly gee, thanks for clarifying that you meant Democrat when you said Democrat. And..."operatives?" You make it sound like a secret conspiracy. I may be reading too much into the word, but to me it seems as if the source of the smell you noticed might in fact be coming from you.

"The fact that you're too stupid to even use proper grammar, and intentional so..."

Right, because intelligence is based upon the rules of grammar. I'm too stupuid too because I couldn't find the improper usage of grammar.

Is Slate always so full of hyperintellectuals who say meaningless stuff? I was once told that the only way the Iraq war and Vietnam war could be "similar" is if they both involved French bungling. I didn't realize "similar" had such a specific definition attached to it. People suck.

Kinda late to the party.

There is nothing "hyperintellectual" in my criticism of Wall Street and the other morons who insist on calling it the Democrat Party. They mean it to be denigrating and demeaning, even though they know it is clearly improper grammar. The correct term is Democratic Party. Those that use the wrong term simply demonstrate their ignorance and lack of maturity.
You missed the point.

Wall Street is trying to annoy Democrats by mislabeling the party in a childish manner. He's demonstrating that he knows the correct term is Democratic Party (or Democratic operatives or Democratic partisans or any other use where "Democrat" is used as an adjective), but he's choosing to use the demeaning version.

"Wall Street is trying to annoy Democrats by mislabeling the party in a childish manner."

I see. My mistake.
