I don't think there will "Be" that compromise.... Fact is though, that even if for some unforeseen reason it doesn't get included "Now" (To get a few GoP votes), it is an absolute certainty that it "Will" be there inside of a years time (After there's no more of a need for "Republican Support" for P/R & public consumption).

well, the media has convinced themselves that he will, but I strongly doubt it. President Obama has to go for the gold and go all LBJ on any timid dem or blue dog to take this healthcare reform to the finish line. this opportunity won't come along even next year. it's now or never.

Mr. Obama needs the moderate democrats and he is not likely to get them with the public option.
