"The City" means different things to different people. I live out West, and the tendency of modern and post-modern designers to build stack-a-prole housing creates an experience far more dreary than something picturesque and medieval in its construction.

And that's before we get to the suburbs. Ten bucks says Charles Levitt is in Hell designing housing blocks for newly-dead American sinners.

At least that place has artistic vision.
