Private school vs. private health insurance
by KevClark64
The reason private schools survive but private insurance won't is that the parents are directly paying for private education for their children. Since education is so important, parents are looking for the best school rather than the cheapest school. With insurance, employers are paying, and they are not going to pay more to get a better plan when a cheaper alternative exists.
We need reform -cheap care for minor problems, not insurance

Eliminate insurance for clinics and yearly office visits. Once a year doc checkups unless you have been diagnosed by a tech or an intern or a nurse practictioner and require a diagnosis by a certified doc. Max $75 for clinics and adjusted rates for doc visits based on tests and time spent and geogragical (higher cost in east coast and west).

Insurance would appy to specialists, surgeons, hospital.

Tort reform. Eliminate some mal practice suits altogether and limits on awards for others (Canada, Uk and France do not have any mal practice issues) .

No public competition. Private competition allowing 1200 compaines to compete where they wish.

No Czars please - we feel like we are in Russia or Nazi Germany

You are seriously such a bad person. If I were religious, I would swear that God would weep for ever making anything even close to a person like you. You are like a scummy piece of garbage discarded by the most selfish person on the planet. You make me ill. I hope to god we don't share the same soil, because I'm sure nothing grows where you tread.
