This article should be required reading for everyone who wants to know the true goal of radical environmentalism. They hate themselves and others so much they want to die and take everyone with them. All radical left movements have been guilty of genocide. (communism, nazism, etcc..) and environmentalism is just the latest excuse to kill a few billion people. We would be all better off if we just kill off a few billion people..how nice.

If they had their way, "voluntary" depopulation would soon lead to forced depopulation the old fashion way..gas chambers and killing fields. This is not a radical interpretation of their movement. Sadly, it is the logical outcome. As this article points out, we can only cut back on carbon emmisions so much by choice, so the only logical conclusion is murder.

Who knew the movie 12 Monkeys would be an acurate prediction of 21st century radicalism? Genocide has progreseed from raciism (nazis), classism (communists) and now environmentalism (kill us off for an imaginary problem and/or because the temperature is one degree hotter). Chicken little is no longer just green, he is a monster as well.

So, if we think people should have one child, we also want to gas them?

Maybe we should kill all the pigs and cows too, since they also contribute to global warming,,hell, why not limit every living thing except plants? And yes, totalitarian enviromentalism bent of depopulation would lead to genocide eventually. It is, as you say the only logical outcome, as for communists killing all intelectuals and nobility was the only logical outcome in establishing a working class only society.

Obviously there is no such thing as a voluntary depopulation. There would be oposition. Oposition would have to be dealt with. Women would get pregnant by accident, or they would not want to be neutered. Forced abortion would have to be introduced as a law. Some people would pick up arms in defence of their children, they wold have to dealt with too. As an enemy of the system their lives would have no value, and as a threat to "everybody" they would be no limits in cruelty in dealing with them. It always looks the same. As one Polish writer wrote: "All old crimes of the world, just dressed in new clothing".

World and US population is skyrocketing a little reproductive self control would be welcomed as far as I'm concerned. What about quality of life issues ?
