"Pathway to Citizenship"-NO F*@king way, and I am a lib

sort of - I am more of a moderate, but anyway, I don't a pathway to citizenship for those illegals "who are already here" -

- they jumped the line (actually they cut the line, or fence or whatever) to beat those standing legally in line.

- if you grant them all citizenship, more will come 'cause they know that at some future date, ANOTHER "amnesty" or whatever you want to call it, will surely be announced by this or a future Prez.

- this will trigger a new wave of illegals eager to "be already in the US" before Congress authorizes any amnesty.

So sorry, we have plenty of problems in the US, and while I am not opposed to legal immigration (we one can even argue might be wanted and needed), I am not interested in this many illegal aliens suddenly becoming "citizens" without steady jobs, or speaking English.

Sorry fellow libs, on this one I differ. Before you start calling me "Tom Tancreado" - I am not opposed to legal immigration; but I am not in favor of rewarding those who broke our laws and in some cases, are taking jobs from Americans.

if they all left immediately dishes would pile up in resaurants across the country, lawns would not get mowed, construction would grind to a halt, and meat packers would shut down. how would you get steaks? hell no real work would get done in texass or southern california.

you do not even know the pathway. i would think there would be the payment of fines, back taxes, and all the rigamoroll that legals have to do.

are you saying we can't function as a nation without them? I think if most of them left, things might get a little more expensive, but they would get done one way or another.

You are right though, I don't know the pathway. I just think its unfair that those who applied to get here legally have the same standing as those who keep breaking the law.

I never thought I would agree with you on anything, but see - maybe there's still hope for our country :)

chill. freaking out over illegals is so last year. anyway, they've been going home since the jobs dried up and Bush left and took his sign with him. you know, his sign that said COME ON UP.

the feds are back to prosecuting employers who hire illegals. for families who have settled in and been here for years, they need to go thru a process to become legal residents. it's the Christian thing to do.

To your lib friends that will attack you...Illegal aliens are not special people.

Illegal aliens are criminals - All Of Them Are Criminals. Now somehow, libs think they are good people... yet most are felons that have stolen or forged a Social Security / ETIN number in order to committ yet multiple crimes by fraudulently taking jobs, making employers criminals also.

So, if illegal aliens are so great, why are they hiding from our law enforcement officers by the tens of thousands as we speak?

You know,,, some years ago - people actually loved John Dillinger and Bonnie & Clyde.... those are the types that endorse illegal aliens.,,, something about people that steal.
