Rationing health care is irrationing

You don't see any conservatives talking about limiting health care, now do you? We don't believe in telling people how or what medical procedures they can have. We believe in being able to go to the doctor without the government getting in the way. It is not the government's role to, and it never should be, to take away any procedure. Next, the government will be asking doctors to turn over their records to see if certain procedures have been performed and then hold the doctor and patient in judgment. All because the government thinks it knows best how to take care of people and what medical procedures they should or shouldn't have done.

I am so angry I could spit. If I could actually produce any phlegm at all. I've had this dry unproductive cough for quite a while. Ever since mothers locked me in the basement of the foreclosed house next door. They say it for only a couple hours; I swear it was a week. Anyway, because of ObamaCare I will not be able to get the care that I need. Codeine. Lots and lots of codeine. At least that is what the emergency room doctor told me when I went in for my three day refill.

You need another talking point, Gatesta.

I swear, every day must be opposite day in Conville, USA.

Your right of determination and other medical rights are already severely limited by the for-profit medical insurance industry. They, in fact, basically have the last say when it comes to what medical options a person has, and that covers routine procedures and also end of life situations where costs are usually a lot higher than would normally be.

You see, Gatesta, these people are in business to make a profit and when you become a risk to their bottom line, then you are automatically a client whose medical priorities are in conflict with their business model. This is all easy to understand, even if it seems cold and crude. It's just the way that the for-profit only medical insurance industry works. And it is routinely factoring itself in between the wishes of the doctors and their patients, due to the fact that it has an interest to keep pay out costs down to a bare minimum.

You cons need another bogey.

Yes... I DO SEE may conservatives talking about limiting...

....health care!!! ..... Fact is, that's about ALL I see coming from the Anti-UHC people!!!

Limiting or even MAINTAINING the current DENIAL to health care for MILLIONS of Americans that can neither afford that care out of their own pockets, or have preexisting conditions that PREVENT THEM from getting the insurance coverages they NEED to remain healthy!!!

Why did the mothers lock you in the foreclosed house?
by FormerlyKnownAsIRP

Why are you going for treatment in the emergency room? Do you think that you need more than codeine?

What does any of this have to do with "ObamaCare"?

Where does money come from?

Capitalists, businessmen, traders and industrialists create wealth in the free market

All government redistribution, corruption, intrusion and interference costs overall economic growth.

Gat agrees we need a free market solution, and not more government inefficiency.

Money comes from money markets, silly!

They're just like supermarkets, but pimply faced teens don't work there.

Medicare costs are held down by transferring costs to private insurance. We want all socialized medicine thrown out and replaced with a free market solution.

Profits create competition, the incentive to lower costs and increasing quality. That is how evolution works, competition is Darwinian superiority. Evolution is a scientific fact.

Government always deceases efficiency and quality.

Government distorts markets and creates monopolies.

Profits are beautiful, socialism is evil.

Governments always trend towards increasing its own power and oppressive tyranny.

Without Medicare the health care system as we know it would not exist and the life expectancy would be many year less.

Government is what we created when we became a country. It has the riight to regulate interstate commerce and provide the the General Welfare among other things. Monopolies are the ultimate result of unregulated capitalist markets. The bible says love of money is the root of all evil, not socialism. Jesus said to share. Go live in Somalia, or on an island, if you don't want a government.
