back in those days... this place was a lot more fun. It was more of a bar room brawl than the gang mentality that runs through here now. I'm betting it didn't taste very good to open up this page today. When they gave the wombats the power of the thumb, they no longer had to use the power of debate to win their argument... and with everyone just thumbing their nose at everyone; creativity has taken a nosedive. We need a rebirth.... an escape from the attack mode.... if Slate would turn off that ratings feature, maybe we could pull ourselves out of our stupidity, stop attacking each other and free our minds from the depression it has cast over the place.

I gotta admit I don't understand the whole thumbs up/thumbs down thing. The Faith based board seems to use it as well. but in the board I frequent most(Ballot Box) it is mostly irrelevent. People will give you a thumbs up or thumbs down, but if I understand correctly in this forum and in Faith Based if you get alot of thumbs down nobody will read your posts. That seems counterproductive to me, especially when a gang mentality erupts.
