What a novel idea...and one that seems to be poo-poo'd by people who think Meryl Streep should only showcase her considerable talent in "serious" movies.

What if she just liked the book, like I did? What if she likes to cook?

I can't wait to see the movie and I know I'm going to enjoy it as much as the Julie's book.

I adore Streep in both Death Becomes Her and She-Devil as well as The Devil Wears Prada.

I loved the Devil Wears Prada. I actually think Streep is better in her comedies than in her serious films; I enjoy her in both, but she has such a nice, light touch in the more comedica roles!
