hmm...not so sure that all is lost; but some of it is undoubtedly true. Libs and cons will allocate blame according to their beliefs, but the truth is we are all to blame one way or another.

Who needs pessimism once one realizes the truth that everything's meaningless and you and everybody you know is going to die and soon be forgotten? Ah, the liberating bliss that comes from the self-realization that reality and existance comes from the reflected conscioussness of the universe and opinions, self and ego are mere illusions to be dismissed. The only real truths come from the higher levels of humanity, compassion, love, understanding, which do not come from this earth but are eternal. Does it matter if the banking system collapses and everyone's enslaved, kindness and love transcend anything the world can dish out. :)
