I saw a show like this before, it was called my first marriage. Nobody enjoyed watching it. Not my family, her family, or any of our respective friends. Even the therapist we were paying good money for didn't want to watch it. Who were the people pining to watch a series about people involved in painful relationships?

Unless the plan was to create the most palpably uncomfortable TV series ever, this show fails because it simply fails to entertain. Sex as a gimmick doesn't work in the day of easy access to porn. If adults want to watch other adults have sex, they shouldn't be subjected to someone else's relationship problems or bad marriage as a price. Simply log onto some free site or rent a DVD.

Please HBO. We didn't watch the Sopranos for the brief nudity or the therapy sessions. We watched because it was entertaining and had good characters.
