singlepayer system

There cannot be a single payer system until the issue of medical malpractice is resolved. The abundance of trial lawyers supporting Obama makes true reform impossible. If not, who would be sued? The doctors would be Federal employees. Also, the issue of insuring illegal aliens needs to be addressed. Lastly, where do the healthcare workers come from? Who would spend $200,000 for medical school and then defer that debt for 5-8 years for training and then not make enough to pay back that debt. Same is true for nurses and other allied health professionals. Will their education be subsidized like in other countries with single payer systems?

You don't seem to understand the difference between a single-payer system and a socialized national health system.

You also don't seem to understand that medical education is already highly subsidized.

To compound your ignorance, you believe in myths, like the one about malpractice judgements being responsible for healthcare inflation and the need to address the issue of insuring illegal aliens first, before we can have single payer, or a public option.

Doctors would not be Federal employees under single-payer any more than they are employees of insurance companies right now.
