Which of these two do you like better as a movie?

Which of these two is more successful as a movie?

Which of thse two is more successful as social commentary on class and marriage?

Does the Connery/Hedren movie "Laura" make any comment about class and marriage?

Can you think of any other Hollywood treatments of class and marriage that are at least equally good?

... there's only one movie that properly treats class and marriage;

Wuthering Heights

"... and it's only love, and it's only love, that can wreck a human being and turn him inside out ..."

If you've never heard Mary Black sing, you're in for a treat.

I like the Mating season better

Stella Dallas because it was a drama so was able to get the academy award recognition that is reserved for non-comedies (for the most part)

the Mating Season

unsure, more about pretty women I think.

Pride and Prejudice.
