are we having fun yet?

Obama wastes billions on detroit, as part of his tactical plan to keep them alive until a pre-packaged bankruptcy makes them government owned.

Obama wastes billions on wall street, which ends up being paid out in bonuses to the very "overachievers" who helped create this mess

Obama crafts a health plan so absurd he can't get it passed, despite having a "supermajorrity" in the senate, and a 70 seat majority in the house

Obama shreds the reputation of the presidency, going back to JFK's berlin wall speech, for compassion to the oppressed of the world - tells the iranians "its none of my business"

a hat trick - everyting that COULD go wrong HAS gone wrong.

You have to remember, he's never actually done anything before in his life. Except maybe organize a community or something. And write two autobiographies.

Also, he's not terribly bright. He's facile, plausible, but still not very bright.

Clinton, upon seeing his presidency wrecked in 1994, took the course of moving to the middle and trying to make sure he remained popular. Because Clinton's a vain man.

Obama strikes me as uber-vain, but it also seems that his every initiative is custom-designed to lead him into disaster.

Which is why I'm thinking he's not very bright.

clinton as pragmatist
by baltimore aureole

clinton had "its the economy stupid" tattooed on his forehead by his advisors, before he even took the oath of office. and for the most part he took it seriously

and he at least TRIED to do the right thing on terrorism, launching cruise missles at aspirn factories and wilderness campsites with the CIA claimed were vital terrorist assets.

really there ba, that's a conveninet bit of chronological cherry picking. The worst you can accuse Obama here under your metrics is of being unoriginal.

wasting billions on wall street and shredding the "reputation" of the president (whatever that means) were acts well under way when he entered office after Bush.

I am glad you are alive

I feared you had died of frostbite.

Here's a toast to your return.

Well now wait a minute. Obama was a Community Organizer...which means his duties were to help old women get on the right bus to get to the downtown welfare office.

He also single handedly infiltrated the terrorist ring, that was run by Bill Ayers, in order to get secret information that would help him in his quest to be president.

The man has skills...have you seen him shoot hoops?

Detroit is corrupt. Not one DIME should be spent on that city until real regulation of the graft and corruption takes place.

I would like the suburbs to cut all ties to Detroit and establish a different County that absolves them from the burden of keeping the mayors and city councilmen and other elected officials misusing, misspending, and using our taxpayers money for toilet paper if it so please them.

Recommend you reclaim that status.

The stock market recovery under Obama has been fucking miraculous compared to the mess Bush gave us in October. I've made nearly $300K on my stocks in less than one year and I may be taking an early retirement next year.

If this is your idea of Obama going wrong I hope he screws up even worse than he has to date.

You are blaming the bailouts on the wrong prez:

2001...airline bailout...$18.6B

2008...bear-stearns bailout...$30B

2008...FannieMae/FreddieMac bailout...$400B

2008...AIG bailout...$180B

2008...autoindustry bailout...$25B

2008...TARP...$700B

2008...CITI bailout...$280B

2008...BOA bailout...$142.2B

Obama took office 2009.

Keep on Failin
by Urquhart

The lift in the market can be attributed to both the Bush bank bailout (which I, in fairness, opposed) and the expected failure of Obama's takeover of energy and healthcare. Those gains will quickly evaporate should the legislative calculus shift in a pro-Obama direction.

So, absolutely, the investors of the world should continue to hope, along with Rush Limbaugh, that Obama continues to fail in his endeavors.

Wrong, wrong and again, wrong.
