But have you ever noticed how many poster here, when they have no real response to a point that someone else has made, will immediately erect a "straw man" to knock down, rather than actually engaging in an open, objective discussion ? thinds like "you must have been listening to Rush Limbaugh or Faux News" - or they simply start calling the other person derogatory names, like kids in Jr. High.

I posted a note from Richard Jones and one from Anna Wolf the other day - two posters (among several) who have left KFS because they found the environment to be toxic lately.. Can we have a show of hands of those who have considered the same thing ? (denny raises hand). And even though neitherof those people are still on KFS, there we those who had to add derogatory comments tothe thread.

One thing that i have notced about some people here is they like to bitch and complainabout "what life or George Bush" has done to them. I would hope perhaps that some might have even a drop of human compassion - but I guess I am mistaken. From what I have seen here, "human compassion" seems to be limited to demanding what the Government should be doing for you and everyone else. You never stop to consider that what the world really needs is more people caring about each other.

Some people have "complained about the "Tag Line" that isometimes use now. But sometimes you simply have to try and wake people up. Like hitting a mules upside of the head to get his attention. An there are an awful lot of people here who -

Even on KFS its becoming clear that some posters are stuck on Self-centered Liar.

Later, when things seem to have quieted down, I have returned. I am hoping that a couple recent deprtures may yet come back.

and it obviously that your own personal agenda is the most important aspect of the time which you spend here.- and a significant contribution towhy people have grown timed of this place. However, there are some people who actually care about the environment on KFS - and hopefully at least that group (me included) will hereafter ignore anything you post.

So yeah, do ignore little ole me, of course, but just make sure you keep on lecturing and ignoring the other KFS posters who fail to live up to your own high standards of truthfullness and good conduct there big Denny!

Actually, because of the subject line, I almost ignored your post. But then I said what the hell.

As for the comments about Lush, and Faux News, both deserve those comments, and I have no sympathy for them. If you recall, or maybe not, good ole fatboy had one remark after another about those addicted to pain medication, and what low life they were. And then the hypocrit, and his addiction to oxycontin, were exposed. And there's been plenty of other remarks he has made, and so many blunders those of Faux News have made.

In closing on that subject, maybe some should take a lesson from what Micheal Medved has to say about the loons on the right.

I see the wet diaper just couldn't stay away. Just ignore the little boy known as fatcheeks, I do.

The problem is Wah is that typically the poster has said nothing about either. But they are "conservative" and so the Rush/Fox nonsense gets thrown at them. It'sd used as a way of not answerring the question. Same with name calling.
