Were these republicans always around?
by Mars07

they act as if failing is a good thing for the USA

Don't they realize there is only one boat and if it sinks we all go down

What's Working?

And changing America to a Marxist Economy will not bring prosperity. But libs were never to keen on America being super rich anyway. They always cried how unfair it was. Now that you are poorer, are you any better off?

They are blinded by hatred for anything non-CON, when in reality they should be ashamed and humiliated for the FUBR economy and state of health the nation finds itself in.

They have been so invested in political polarization since Lee Atwwer, and Roger Ailes that they have no sense of doing the right thing for America....just for the Republican't party.

Shameless.

I'm ashamed that the GOP thinks they must be more like libs and offer FREE govt services, like dems do to get elected. Bush's entire "compassionate conservativism" was nothing but a worthless waste of time trying to be friendly with liberal philosphy.

well then hopefully they will fall by the wayside

So what do you think would be better,

former President Bush2 is a friendly person he was surrounded by ill advisors and they kept all the bad news from him.

Were these republicans always around?

Since the dinosaurs, maybe before.

Some understand that because there is only one boat and if it sinks we all go down, those who insist on drilling holes in the bottom of it failing, IS a good thing.
I think that was his point

The Republicans need to stop drilling holes in the boat!

Republicans can’t do anything. This is entirely a democrat controlled boat. So if we end up swimming, we’ll know who to blame.

Well, they can't do anything positive
by Trebuchet

But they still have enough political power to do a lot of negative things. Whatever happened to the loyal opposition? It seems that when little george wanted to invade a country that did not attack us, the Democrats lined up in opposition, but when it got down to troops and country, they stood up and supported troops and country.

I guess the Republicans don't share that sentiment......

I don't want to blame either party and I don't want to learn Chinese either

and what's with all the lover boys spending taxpayers money and holing up the on the upstairs room above the church? What is that all about?

In reality 2PUNY those whom are drilling the holes are the GOP at this point.

Health Care is the gapping hole that is sinking us. Spiraling health care costs have been sinking our economy since 1993 and then some.

16 years of a huge hole in our economy left undelt with has increased the speed of which we shall sink. By 2010 we will spend 20% of GDP on health care, and projections beyond are far sharper increases. At some point it breaks the workers, the employers and medicare/medicaid.

The health care lobby is sinking us in order to remain highly profitable, but it is time to do what is right for America before the helath care industry becomes the next auto-manufacturing disaster, or banking crisis. A disaster of it's own sucess.

Sorry sport, but republicans are in control of nothing, therefore whatever holes are being drilled are being drilled by the dems.

And if republicans put holes in the boat before dems gained control of it, having dems do what the republicans did multiple times over is no way to "fix" anything.

Re: Well, they can't do anything positive

Republicans have no political power. The only reason that democrats even defer to them is because they don’t want to take full responsibility for anything they do. They want everything to be “bi-partisan”.

And the reason that democrats lined up to support the war in Iraq is because they had the same intel that the president did. Democrat leaders were just as convinced that Iraq had WMDs as Bush did, and were just about ready to go to war with Iraq under Clinton.

Republicans very much support the country, which is why they are opposed to this disastrous spending binge that Obama had decided to embrace.
