But the lefties on one of the other boards just assured me, the biggest threat the US faces is........Ted Nugent!

the Americans have launched a major operation against the Taliban in a province the bearded ones have long controlled. I would have thought you History Channel militarists would find that something to feel pleased about.

What I can't figure out is why the lefties aren't gloating about the GI who got captured by the Taliban, like they would be doing if Bush was still in the WH.

We are fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan because your beloved boyfriend who lead the last administration ignored them and allowed them to become even more powerful than they were before. You need to remove Bush's member from your lips and turn off your radio and cable for a week. I know the withdrawal symptoms will create headaches for you, but I promise the headaches will not be as bad for you as the pathetic little voices in your head that are preventing you from using your brain for anything more than a cranial space filler.

I would say the only real threat Nugent poses is aesthetic; his brand of troglodyte rock is precisely what's wrong with the whole institution of rock & roll. In a just world, he'd be locked in the same institution as the Eagles and be allowed to fade into richly deserved obscurity.

As a political force, though, I doubt anyone takes him seriously enough to grant him the honor of being considered a threat.
