They don't care about the jobless

That's right. The people at the top who really control everything don't care about the jobless.

I'm sure they could do something to bring about a recovery almost overnight. But they won't. Why? Because they really don't need us, the middle and poverty-level class. There's too many of us. They only need an finite amount of us to work in their companies, buy their products and clean their houses.

It's like this: a rich man could give a poor man 5,000 to go spend, and therefore the money would end up in the hands of the rich man's friend. The friend would then in turn give a cut to the rich man. Or, the friend and the rich man could just give each other money by buying each other's goods and services, thereby cutting out the middle (poor) man.

In a nutsack, I mean nutshell, that's what seems to be happening in the current economy.

It's as though we're being ethnically cleansed, except by financial class, not ethnicity.

Why should I care if there are rich people. Get a good education, work hard and make good decisions. In the US if you do those fairly well, Success is all but guaranteed.

Whine about your lot in life or do something about it.

MOST JOBS , BY A HUGE AMOUNT , ARE OFFERD BY SMALL TO MEDIUM "MOM AND POP" TYPE BUSINESSES.NOT BY FORTUNE 500 COMPANIES WITH C.E.O."S THAT GET 20 MILLION $ BONUSES WETHER THE COMPANY MAKES MONEY OR NOT.According to all sources i have benn able to see ,the majority of these businesses gross under 8 mill. or so a year and have under 65 employees.Hardly the "rich" you are trying to infer are the majority.

Well, I'm not whining and I've got a great education and a great work ethic. The idea that if you get a degree and work hard then you'll be successful is an illusion dear. Maybe it used to work, but people like myself who are young and in our mid-20s, it's not working.

This isn't whining, it's reality. There are college-educated people working at Target right now, and some aren't working at all.

It's easy to say someone is whining when you've made it. For those of us that haven't made, and have done everything we can, from work min. wage jobs, to even praying, and taking a job for which we're underpaid and overqualified, it's not whining.

If you don't like what I have to say then don't read my post.

All I hear from you is whining. My daughter got an English degree and is working as a waitress.

She doen't whine about it. She wanted an English degree, not a good job.

If you don't like what I have to say, don't read my post.

Maybe Mr. Obama will get you a job.
