I'm 5'2" (I know perfectly acceptable for a female), and if you want people to take you seriously, you have to A) know what you're talking about, and B) train your voice so you don't sound like a ten-year-old.

I've had no trouble getting people to take me seriously, but I also wear glasses so that might help.

I applaud you doing the most you can with what you have, and I agree that attitude means a lot. But if you don't think things would be different if you were 5'5", you are kidding yourself.

If you think your personal testimonial is more important than years of scientific research proving you wrong, then you are kidding yourself.

Wrong! This person focused on her strengths rather than her height. She defied the statistics, and in the process, changed them.
