Big eyes and small chins and noses make a woman appear more baby like, which implies sexual control, since minors are less capable of commanding their own sexuality. Attraction to youth is a specific fetish that appeals to a certain group of men, just like blonde hair or fishnet stockings.

Women prefer Clint Eastwood to Woody Allen, as in, women feel sexual desire from relative submission. A glance at the dating profiles on match.com and yahoo.com uniformly show a female preference for taller men judging by their conscious selection of male height: the lower bound of the range is greater than the woman's height. The exceptions to the rule are women that are several inches above average height, although their preference is still a man that is taller.

I don't think the reason for height preference is explained by the desire to be dominated. I think rather that its a biological motivation to produce an offspring with the greatest opportunities for success out in the world. A Tall person---the tallest guy always is chosen president, haven't you noticed? has an advantage. BTW, so does a smart and rich man--which is why women much younger do in fact find Woody Allen sexy.

That is not to say that modern women can't protect themselves, it's that there is an instinct that wants security and having the biggest or strongest monkey available to protect you and your offspring is desirable. Rich semi-hairless monkeys provide that desirable security also.

As for men, basically any libido trigger will do. Everyone has their preferences and MO, but getting some is definitely at the forefront of the drive.

As for dominance and submission: What percentage of men would actually want a woman who dominates them daily? I think a few years of marriage would cure just about any man of that fetish!

Whoa for a couple of huge generalizations. Men do have categories of attributes they like - but every man doesn't fetishize Asian women. Different men have different groups of theoretical "virtues" (physical, emotional, etc.), and, like women, often find that the person they fall in like/lust/love with doesn't fit a lot of those theoretical categories.

The women-love-to-submit claim is such a laughable, yet sadly sexist, cliche that it doesn't need further refutation than this: Some women do, some women don't. Some men do, some men don't.

And some men, and women, seek equal partners.

Now that's a puritanical statement! Blendy, is it that you think that women don't seek sexual pleasure or that no man can be hot?

By the way, some women like them tall, and some like them short. It's not the size that counts, as they say....

Not all Asian women have the prototypical characteristics that men find exotic or desirous, but those that do have child like features in common. Youth is a common fetish in America. Consumerism in America is driven either by Youth (feel young again!) or Fear (don't let this happen to you!).

Youth is not a fetish for me. I have had Asian girlfriends but not for those reasons.

Incomplete yes, puritanical no. I'm strictly talking about the animal drives. I think that nature shows a lot of any type of example that one would want to hold up. Bonobos vs. Chimpanzes, certain bird types, etc. where mating habits are concerned. Most people like to get off. I just believe that proportionately our genetic, and to a lesser extent cultural dispositions lean more toward females looking for those traits and males looking for their next fix. A gross generalization, true, but from my observations most women that try to be players usually get all emotionally twisted over it whereas men usually don't.
