Don't buy into the Letterman V Palin BS. Its not about some late night jabberjaw's tacky remarks. It's all about Palin's reaction to them. Plenty of cultural deadenders talk shit about Obama and his family. The important thing, the thing that outrages the conservatives, is that Obama deals with these things with class and finesse. Palin is spluttering around, making bizarre hyperbolic claims and using this "Joke" to extend her fifteen minutes of botched fame. Quite honestly, Sarah Palin can't say much about objectifying women. She is a rather foul bit of beauty pageant flotsam herself. As for pedophilia, wouldn't Levi be in jail right now if she were really against it? Levi's not having had a hunting accident with palin's snowmobile racing hubby is all about how Sarah thought she could turn the poor dummy into votes. Again, the start and finish of this story is; Sarah Palin will do anything to stay onstage. In six months, she will have another stunt, even more absurd than this. I recommend no one give her an excuse for press conferences. That is where I fault Letterman the most.

Nobody talks Jack about Obama's kids on national television except in the most respectful and reverent terms -- if ANYBODY dares talk about them at all.

I honestly believe that the writer of the joke Letterman said had Bristol in mind but didnt realize Sarah had a younger daughter (understandable as she is already a grandma because she has all this sex going on in her home). I believe the intended target was in fact Bristol.

He reported those posters to both the Fray editor and to the U.S. government. So, obviously, such 'joking' is quite possible and obviously our open-minded liberals, who do not mind such jokes at all, WOULD go ape shit crazy over them. It sucks to be you, doesn't it Trebuchet?
