Republicans or the Taliban = no difference!

Dr. George Tiller is a hero who saved women’s lives and championed human rights.

Abortion is not murder. A fetus is part of a woman’s body until she gives birth.

Republican religious bigots care nothing about the rights of the mother how can they claim to care about a fetus in the mother's body which can endanger the mother's life.

One of the most common reasons for late-term abortion is because the fetus is posing a threat to the mother's life. Another reason for many late-term abortions is because the baby's life is threatened with either death or deformity. While republicans seek to deny abortions due to deformities in the fetus or even threats to a mother's life they care nothing about the expensive health care costs that will be incurred and would rather the baby or mother die after birth due to lack of health care than to support a reasonable health care system for everyone. If they care nothing about the health of the baby and the mother before birth how can they even dare to pretend they care about weather or not it is born? Republican religious bigots are no strangers to hypocrisy however.

And, if the mother can't financially support a child republicans would then seek to steal the child and put it up to adoption rather than let nature take it's course as they say, even though it is an unnatural law they propose to prohibit abortions. Religious bigots have a long history of denying human rights to those who don't follow their religion. Christopher Columbus enslaved the native Haitians claiming they had no rights because they were not 'christian'. America used to steal the children of the native Indians and send them back East to Orphanages to 'teach them the white mans ways'. The children of slavery, which religious bigots supported whole-heartedly as endorsed by their bible, were sold as used cars and slave parents were seperated without regard and not even allowed to marry. We are just over 100 years from these attrocities which were endorsed and promoted by traditional religions. And the idea these bigot republicans claim to be pro-life while endorsing the Iraq War 'christian crusades' obviously a religious war against muslims clearly based on lies and murdered hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children based on these lies with no regards for Iraqis rights is just another act of republican hypocritical bigoted culture war violence!

500,000 children are already in foster care homes in America and many of these children were stolen from parents who violated republican bigots other culture war laws such as drug use (where many parents of foster care children are in our 3 million person prison system for the counter-productive drug war). Religious bigots used to take children away from parents for just being gay, or even a single parent.

Republicans care nothing about the health and welfare of the child after it is born, yet say prisons are the answer to prevent abortions. Republicans seek to make a woman's vagina a crime scene, effectively shoving man's laws up a woman's vagina. I call that legal rape! And this from Republican bigots like Sara Palin who make women pay for their own rape kits! I guess you can say Republicans are serial rapists of human rights across the board!

This is Republican health care: death sentences and prisons. According to Republican religious bigots, death sentences and prisons will solve all our social ills, just like the inquisitions during the Dark Ages. And feudalism will solve our economic problems, yea right!

Anti-abortion proponents are all endorsing violence either by government law enforcement or by vigilante enforcement. Republicans think their religious views must be enforced with a gun one way or another. Who needs the Taliban when we have Republican Terrorists in our own back yard!

The only difference between Republican Religious Bigots an the Taliban Bigots is the name of their religion – they both believe in Violence and Murder to enforce their views to violate human rights.

Republicans who claim not to want a government health care takeover just prefer to take over our right to our own bodies weather it be for abortions, gay sex, straight sex, or drug use – even immigration – prisons and guns are the republican version of health care.

All republican bigots do is create underground markets and violence with their white washed tomb with dead men's bones religious hypocrisy. No wonder republicans do not support education they want to keep us all so stupid that we'll believe their dark age superstitious oppressive crap.

hahahahahahahahaha! You are so funny. Your purpose of posting is to rant and rave instead of discussing the issue. If you really wanted to discuss instead of defame you would have responded to other calm rational posts from people with differing views. But no that would definitively prove that your "arguments" are thin and factless with nothing more than rhetoric to back them up. You are just as nasty and hateful as those who you are trying to declare yourself better than. I actually feel sorry for you.
Someone missed out on their Haldol?

...debate about the legitimate moral boundaries of abortion are one thing. Psychotic rants about the weird-and-not-very-wonderful world that seems to define your political understanding represent a very different thing.

...the former can be illuminating. Your ranting is not.

Thank you. I completely agree.

To those who dismiss JusticeIsEquality's post as a hysterical rant: I predict that, fifty years from now, today's Republican Party will be taught in schools as an example of dangerous extremism on a par with the Taliban and perhaps even the Nazis. While I would never claim that Bush was anywhere near as evil as Hitler, it could be argued that the people who voted for Bush and supported his policies were more morally repugnant than the Germans who went along with the Nazis. Remember that most average German citizens did not know about the full extent of the Holocaust until after the war, and every effort was made to present Nazi party officials as compassionate, nice, culturally sensitive people. Remember also that the Nazis provided infrastructure and economic stability, and that casual anti-Semitism was an ingrained German trait for centuries, hardly invented by Hitler. On the other hand, American Republicans saw the Abu Ghraib photos and laughed. They saw the footage of Hurricane Katrina devastation and shrugged. They saw the economy collapse and understood who was suffering and who was profiting. They knew that torture was taking place, that people were losing their jobs and homes while the rich got richer, that people were dying of salmonella because government regulatory agencies were asleep at the wheel. They knew the war in Iraq was a costly mistake that did nothing to make our country safer. They knew all this and more -- and they didn't care. And they still don't care. Their cultural identification is so strong with the Republicans that no amount of empirical evidence will shake them, that no amount of death and destruction caused by their party's policies will move them. How can you not call these people psychopathic monsters? What will it take?

As for abortion: remember that it was legalized in the first place in order to SAVE lives. Abortion is a fact of life: there has always been abortion, there will always be abortion, and a grown-up society is one that acknowledges that and makes it a safe and legal procedure. The only people entitled to have discussions about the ethics of abortion are pregnant women and doctors. The rest of us need to keep it legal and keep our when-does-life-begin soliloquies to ourselves, because they do nothing to help the issue, which is really none of our business.

By the way, I do not come by my position on abortion cheaply. Had abortions been as easy to get in 1961 as they are today I wouldn't be here. But that doesn't matter. A woman must have the right to evict anything living in her body -- period.

...and worse than that, those NASTY Republicans try to stop us from bringing lawsuits to blame others when we spill hot coffee on ourselves, and I just KNOW they are plotting to reduce the number of individual ingredients and other special parameters that we can specify in each and every latte we order.

It really is pathetic. I wouldn't wish a dictatorship on any people, but it is awfully tempting to wish a period of it on people who leave idiot postings like this. Shrill, foolish, ignorant - and evidently written by someone who has neither personal knowledge of dictatorship, nor the imagination to consider what it might actually be like.
