All that's left of theRepublican party is the moral majority

but the real problem is that the moral majority is neither moral nor a majority

Right wing trash and scum abound in the US. Decades of RepubliCON advertising has conditioned the stupidest, greediest, and laziest third of the population to always vote for them. These imbeciles are the greatest threat to the future of the US.

The Moral Majority, plus the Ayn Rand Institute. Which makes for a very odd couple.

As I explained to a real conservative friend of mine, the problem is that the Lee Atwater success made republicans think our election process is just a marketing campaign and that it isnt about real issues or real leadership anymore.

The plan will be to list all the dem failures and then focus on them and then still bring in the bible blasters and the gun nuts too. At no point will they require that a conservative actually stand for anything again....they will decide what conservative means when the time comes to construct the new ad campaign.

In the mean time, Rush and his fellow shepherds will keep the sheep in line as their votes are all but a guaranty. See no matter who the dems put up the sheep will vote against them provided the shephards tell them so...

In order for the Republican party to be more inclusive, they will have to defy Rush Limbaugh and James Dobson.

In the case of Terri Schiavo, we saw James Dobson demand that the Republicans federalize a state issue. Within five days Republicans called Congress back into session and passed the laws Dr Dobson demanded and George W. Bush came back from vacation (!) to sign it.

In 2009 we saw the Chairman of the Republican National Committee call Rush Limbaugh “divisive”, then have to crawl on his belly apologizing to Mr. Limbaugh over it.

Republicans will never be able to separate themselves from Limbaugh/Dobson. Ever. Those two control what Republicans think, do and say. And they will as long as they wish.

Show me one bit of evidence to the contrary.

Perhaps in how John McCain selected his running mate had his running mate selected for him?

I see no evidence whatsoever that Republicans even want to be more inclusive. Do you?
