'Tween Clothes/Petite women sizes
by Sunrise_Dawn

I can agree to the extent of NOT wanting my 9 year old niece wearing a low-rise jean showing off a thong in the back, or even wearing a padded push-up bra when she doesn't have anything to "push-up" nor should have the inclination to do so, even if she wasn't "in-training"....

But this is another thought all together... My 9 year old niece wears the same size clothes that I DO!! I am a truly petite sized woman at 3 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 70 to 75 lbs.

I am sooo thankful that I can find cute/pretty and albeit adult looking clothing items at these "Tween Clothes Shops" such as Limited too. I've gone to Victoria's Secret and the A-cup bras have enough fabric to add TWO tube socks into each one after I've put it on. Geez. And while I can get a Vic's Secret panty in my size, why should I, considering the price (versus a girl's size underwear cost) and it wouldn't match the Girls sized bra either?

And GAWD help me, But I refuse Refuse REFUSE to wear anything with "Dora Dora" or "Lilo & Stitch".... but as a 'tween in the 80's, I am nostalgic about anything with "Hello Kitty" and "Strawberry Shortcake".

So, parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles ... just monitor your kid's clothing. As a parent/guardian, you have the way/means and right to dress them as you see proper. But, don't just "protest" and rope in the idea that only children between the ages of 8 and 12 wear these clothes at the girl's department. There are plenty of grown up Little People that are thankful not having to wear "Dora Dora" or "I Love My Grandma" t-shirts just becuse those were the only shirts they could find in their size.
