I DO NOT - repeat- DO NOT accept ANY responsibility as an American for ANY torture carried out by Bush's administration. I did not vote for Bush - ever. But, hey, go ahead and take the blame; especially if you helped put him in office. You all had your chance to prevent torture by voting for someone else, but no, you all were afraid to appear "weak" and "unpatriotic" and so you voted for the tough guy. Meanwhile, reasonable people like me were being told by Ari Fleischer to "watch what you say". Please, spare me your hand-wringing and leave me out of your guilt-fest.

...and that is the limit for you, then? You voted against it, so, *shrug*, try again in 4 years? If they were rounding up your race or coreligionists and stuffing them into cattle cars, would you have objected so strongly? Would you have gone so far as to maybe, right a letter to your congressmen? ;)
