Isn't it weird how all those damn hippies ended up being right about Bush being a fascist, Global Warming, Alternative energy, and banking/credit cards? honestly, I'd just like a "well done" from someone on the right for once.

I'm no fan of Bush, but I seem to remember that he was re-elected in 2004. By a majority of those that voted. Unless you have hitherto undisclosed info showing that the 2004 vote was a sham and a fraud?

I wouldnt hold your breath for that.

The party was more than happy to throw Bush under the bus once he had secured another four years in office--they all but fogot he was one of them. Suddenly it was indeed Bush's fault for the economy, the pointless war, torture, global warming, etc and by the way, dont blame McCain......Any conciliatory gestures came in replacing Bush with someone potentially easier to tolerate than a 3rd Bush term (rumours of Bush's brother the gov or FL faded fast).

The fact that the republican congress rubber stamped Bush policy for six years was supposed to be fogotten...the fact that liberals were demomized by the right as traitors was supposed to be forgotten......the party was all about american heroes like John McCain.....

What it all came down to then and now is that Bush was just another Nixon...tell them what you think they want to hear and then do whatever the hell you want once you get in.
