The secessionist talk won't stop in Texas

Folks down here are still talking about this looney subject. Let me get this straight:
Repugnants/conservatives lost an election, and now they're upset enough to talk about seceding from the union. Never mind that there will be more elections in the future, and that they still enjoy the right to participate in those elections, vote, run for office, petition the government...none of that matters. Some of them claim that Bush is as bad as Obama, but this talk didn't erupt until Obama took office, so it's pretty clear that the real source of their anger is the fact that they lost an election.
So, free elections do not bring any sense of resolution to these people. If the election doesn't go their way, they decide they don't want to be Americans anymore.
Secondly, we fought a war over the supposed right of secession. The secessionists lost. But they claim that it doesn't matter, they still claim the right to secede...which means two things. First, an election does not offer any respite if it doesn't go their way. A war doesn't offer any resolution, either. If they can't stand elections and won't accept the results of war, what, praytell, would make these people happy?
I woudn't trust these nuts with any authority over government. They aren't concerned about their rights. They're concerned about the fact that most Americans just flat-out don't agree with them. I shudder to think what a future, independent Texas would look like with these morons in control. I can tell you one thing: if you are Mexican, black, or queer, you may as well line up against the wall the day we become an independent state, because you are fucked.
