This article and the many others like it really highlight the need for a commission to look into the intelligence and lay out the actual timeline of events for the American people. Bush administration officials cannot be counted on to portray the timeline accurately. Journalists have demonstrated far too many inconsistencies in their public statements for them to be considered credible. An independent commission could clear up all this confusion.

The 9/11 commission report may leave a lot of questions unanswered, but the information within it does help dispel many myths about that day, including some promulgated by administration officials.
