Idealism is not inherently bad, unless you're a world leader
by syntax
I want a realist for a leader. Someone who has a vision of a better world yet someone who isn't going to sacrifice my freedom for lofty ideals. Turning the other cheek is a lofty ideal but the net result is, you get a bruised cheek. Take that to it's ultimate conclusion and you have a meek population dominated, enslaved, by a ruthless opposition. That's reality. You can't ride your high horse if you're under the yoke of your master holding a whip.
