Ahhh.. baking bread

Forget Akins... I need my carbs!

It's all about trying and adjusting. I remember I used Bisquik® to make pizza crust (not bad but it did taste like a bisquick bisquit® with sauce and cheese) When I made 8 homemade pizzas (hand kneaded) for my wife's youth group, that's when I bought a KitchenAid® Stand mixer - thank you Jesus! It was a big investment but I use it regularly for breads, pancake, waffles and yes, pizza! Some of the best recipes I've found are in the KitchenAid® book. I've tried other web site recipes but I end up going back to 'the book' One of the best breads I make is the Honey Oatmeal bread - I use local honey plus whole grain 'hippie' flour (I'm an old Austin, Whole Foods kind of guy) so no bromated flour. I get the best compliments on the honey oatmeal bread. Brings families and common enemies together!!

Think I'll make a loaf this weekend!
