Governor Perry hints of Texas Secession
by JackDallas

It's out in the open now; the Governor has stated that Texas can leave the Union if it wants to.

At this point I am cautiously optimistic. We are still a long way from a referendum, but at least the buzz is on the wind.

Such is the depth of your "patriotism".

Does that mean the Cowboys & Texans will no longer eligible to play in the NFL?

Sweet!

jesus christ, do we have to march down there and kick you ass once again. Wasn't the last time enough?

You're in the Union pal, get used to it.
buh-bye now

You've got my vote.
Manifest Destiny! I can see it now.
by Skeptical3

Just as Russia has always fought for a warm weather port, Texas needs free access to the Atlantic and the Pacific.

How many freedom loving Americans can Texas hold, Jack?

Cheers Skeptical.

What, you want MORE Red Acorns?

Nuts.
I need an address.

Where do I send my contribution to support the cause? I'll make the money back in tax savings anyway - we won't have to pay for needless foreign wars at the behest of a state full of people with small-penis issues.

Governor Perry's days as Governor are mercifully numbered. He's an embarassment to Texas. He got 39% of the vote in 2006. He doesn't speak for a majority of Texans.
Off topic Sawbones you did mention your tax savings.
by Skeptical3

Are you one of those doctors who will refuse to take Medicare patients when Leader Obama cuts Medicare Payments to those who treat elders?

I suppose, with less income, you will pay less taxes and get a tax savings that way.

OR

You could take the Leader's cut in pay and write off the difference to charity on your Federal Income Tax

Take your tax savings point.

PS Small penis issues...illegal aliens, Red Acorns paid for by the Leader, Refugees from Phoenix Arizona fleeing from Mexican Drug Cartel kidnapping....come on, the Fray is the Real World not some back hospital room in which to sniff ether and relax. Eh.

How does he rate with the illegals and the lawyers making a

If you need any help filling out the forms, don't hesitate to ask.

I only mention it, 'cause I'm not sure y'all understand what it means...

Texas Gov. Rick Perry fired up an anti-tax "tea party" Wednesday with his stance against the federal government and for states' rights as some in his U.S. flag-waving audience shouted, "Secede!" (emphasis mine)

smack your ass on the way out, Jack.

Who do you think you're fooling, tough guy? I'm pretty sure even Texans aren't that stupid (present company excluded, of course). It's just like the stimulus money...bitch about it in public and pocket it when it's time to put up or shut up.

Here's what you're gonna do, Jack.
by LeftistMarxist
As my grandmother used to say, you're going to shit, if you eat regular.
Then I'll be moving to Texas
by justoffal

If Texas does what I think they are about to do which is something less than secession but more than a state of the Union...I'm moving to Texas...I have friends who work in the refineries down their so a job shouldn't be a problem.

I heard what the Governor said very proudly the other day and it's about time we started hearing from the states......at this rate the Federal Government would like to dissolve all the state Governments I'm sure.
