Every dog has its day...
by fozzy
Never had much (if any) love for Limp Bizkit either, but they did put out one very good song, IMHO. Their remake of "Behind Blue Eyes", in particular the video with Halle Berry. Of course it was nothing like any other Limp Bizkit song -- and a cover to boot -- so maybe that explains why it worked.

i actually loved their remake of Faith, which was closer to their other work (he screams "you gotta have faith" as loud as he can). a few of their other songs were enjoyable too. In general the ones where Durst just flips out and screams were good for a release if your mood was right. They became more of a joke when they incorporated more "rapping" (if thats what you want to call Durst doing his normal voice lyrics) and less of the metal screaming. As the author points out, the lyrics were nothing to be proud of, the band was at its best when you could hardly understand them.
