TOWN HALL MEETING ; MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Finally we have a president who is articulate, and who wants to interact directly with the American people. What is so gimmicky about that ? not as gimmicky as putting up a big banner across the deck of a ship saying Mission Accomplished when the mission wasnt anywhere near done. President Obama has already accomplished his mission. he has the trust of the majority of the people.

I have to say..gimmicky..maybe. Overexposed..possibly a bit.

Doing it on purpose for the exposure and a chance to talk t the public and sell his agenda..you betcha.

So..at least unlike the last president He's TRYING. He cares. He's DOING SOMETHING.

And it's working. Hurray! American's are jumpy because of the economy..and maybe they have a reason to be..but being jumpy doesn't help FIX anything. Look at the numbers, the numbers don't lie. America likes this president, they feel less jumpy when he's visible.

If he can't fix the economy in a month or two (and no one can) then maybe the best thing he CAN do is calm everyone down.

And God bless 'im for trying his heart out!

Couldn't get in one compliment for your O-Prez without any Bush Bashing. Never can and never will!

Why? Because without George W. Bush Bushing being the only way to make Oblahblah look good, all you would have would be a big mouth entertainer with big ears who looks like a Curious George.

A Curious George Is Better Than An Incurious George.

Which is what the last President was.

It is difficult to not be happy over the differences between a president who couldn't even be bothered to read the daily summary....it had to be summarized for him...and a president who can actually answer multipart questions on difficult topics without a crib sheet.....
A Summary Of A Summary Of A Summary For George.

I can imagine that George's summaries of the summaries of his daily intelligence summary went something like this:

You can relax; Dick is taking care of everything.

The very fact that we had a president who would only run the country when the VP was ill or incapacitated seems to escape a lot of the repubs.
Your problem there, alice

...is that she's right about both men. Bush DID put up a stupid banner, and the mission STILL isn't accomplished there.

Facts are stubborn things, I know, especially for Righties...:)

Oh, and your comparison of Obama to a monkey is racist, just in case you were too stupid to know. My guess is that you knew it very well, and did it deliberately.

Being not a leftie nor a righty I think Obama has done well with him using technology to his advantage aka teleprompters and the internet U-tube.

If you were to put Obama in a neck brace it might be hard for him to talk.

As far as his new policies and spending us into debt, the jury is still out on that.

I don’t think Bush knew how to boot-up a computer....

Now it says this:

Relax? How, while a Dick is taking care of everything!?!?

ps

Too bad Wall Street wasn't as smart as you guys. Investors still think Obama Sucks!

Punkin', if you are under the impression that the only thing dictating the actions of the equity markets is sentiment about the President there's no possibility of enlightening you.

Sentiment? Ha!

If you are under the impression that the only thing dictating the actions of the equity markets IS only sentiment, then it is you who has no possiblility of enlightenment!
